50 States Assignment



Objective: Students will use internet resources to find specific facts and figures related to US States
Students will become acquainted with the geography and organization of the USA

Directions:

1. You will split up into groups of 4 or 5 and collect information on about your assigned states.
2. Download the 50 States Data Collection Form and complete 1 form for the states assigned to your group.



3. Once you have completed a form for each of your states. Email the StateNameYourName .doc file to Mr. Ward - wardaw@gmail.com.

4. Label your state map with:

The State Capital (*)
3 Major Cities
Points of Interests (Museums, Amusement Parks, National Parks)

5. Bring your map to school.
